about us
The phases of the Moon mirror the rhythm of organizing a live show. The New Moon is the time of planning, when dreams spark, ideas take root, and aspirations begin to take shape. With the Crescent Moon, the announcement is made, the promotion begins and new collaborations are woven together. At the Full Moon, everything reaches its peak, as the music ignites, the audience gathers, and the original vision shines in its fullness. Then the waning begins and the lights fade, the stage is dismantled, and everyone returns home. Eventually, the New Moon never fails to rise, carrying with it the promise of new dreams, the spark of new music, and the invitation to begin anew.
Luna Nuova is an agency dedicated to live performance and soon, much more. Born from the past experiences of Piola Libri and Piola Piccola, it has since traced its own path, setting course for new spaces and new sounds.
Independent yet deeply connected, the collaboration with Piola Libri and Piola Piccola continues to be essential.
New projects are already on the way, ready to flourish under our New Moon.
our manifesto
Concerts are spaces shaped by music, bodies and relationships. We try
to build environments where identities are affirmed, boundaries are
respected, and collective awareness is practiced, not imposed.
Inspired by underground music scenes, Luna Nuova is a space where freedom and safety exist together.
1. our values
Unity:
We honor each individual's identity, body, and way of expression. Unity
does not mean sameness, but coexistence — recognizing difference as a
source of collective strength.
Liberation: We understand liberation as both individual and collective.
It
emerges through dismantling barriers, questioning power dynamics, and
creating new possibilities for being, feeling, and connecting.
Care:
a political and relational practice. We cultivate safe and welcoming
environments grounded in kindness, active listening, solidarity, and
shared responsibility.
Inclusion: it means
accessibility and participation for all. It requires actively
challenging inequalities, recognizing privilege, respecting boundaries,
and celebrating diversity as a concrete practice.
Respect: We uphold respect for people and spaces alike. This includes a culture of consent and a clear rejection of discrimination, harassment, abuse, and any infringement on others' freedom.
2. awareness and collective care
At Luna Nuova, awareness is not an accessory — it is a shared practice. We understand awareness as a collective, political, and relational commitment: the effort to listen, to recognize different experiences, and to care for one another within the spaces we create together. This approach is inspired by underground practices of self-education, particularly the work of TUTTA SCENA, which you can discover through this link.
We believe in self-education from the bottom up: a continuous process involving organizers, artists, staff, and participants alike. There are no fixed roles of "experts" and "learners", as awareness grows through dialogue, reflection, and shared experience.
Our
goal is to create spaces where people can express discomfort without
fear of being minimized, boundaries are respected and consent is
practiced daily, care is understood as a collective act, not an
individual burden.
This is the music industry we want to build, together.
3. code of conduct
This Code of Conduct applies to everyone in Luna Nuova spaces: audience members, artists, staff, organizers, and collaborators.
Respect and consent are non-negotiable. Consent must be explicit, informed, and reversible — in physical interactions, conversations, photography or filming, and shared spaces. We have zero tolerance for harassment, violence, or discrimination of any kind. We recognize that power dynamics exist on and off the stage. Everyone is asked to be mindful of their position, privileges, and impact on others.
Care is not delegated, it is collective. If you witness discomfort, harassment, or exclusion, do not ignore it. Support those affected or seek help from staff and organizers. Listening comes before questioning, and support comes before solutions.
Respect extends to the physical and emotional spaces we share together. Take care of the venue and help preserve it as a place where everyone can exist freely. Harmful behavior may result in removal from the space. Accountability is necessary to protect the community and affirm our shared values.
If you need support of any kind during our shows, reach out to someone you can trust, the Awareness Team, or a member of the staff. If you witness a situation that feels wrong, do not minimize it or stay silent: offer support if you can, or seek help from someone who can intervene. Care starts with listening.

Leonardo
Originally from Brescia, Leonardo is passionate about underground music in all
its forms, from hip hop to post-punk, including more experimental and
independent sounds. For him, music is not just entertainment, but a
space for cultural and political expression, as well as a means of
bringing people together.
He
gained experience through his involvement with the Radio Onda d'Urto
Festival, a long-standing reference point for the Italian underground
scene. At Luna Nuova, Leonardo serves as project manager, coordinating
the overall vision and the various people and skills involved.

Chiara
Balancing
literature and music, Chiara has always walked these two paths in
parallel, guided by a single purpose: to share the beauty of things. She
seeks to let what she loves find its way to those ready to recognize it
and be moved in the same way. For her, the stage becomes an open space —
a place of connection, passion, care, and community.
Her
personal love for writing and guitar — among poems and songs long kept
in a drawer — has evolved into a gesture of welcome, transforming
intimate creativity into opportunities for others. To Chiara, literature
and music ultimately speak the same language, and she would readily
swear that Sylvia Plath and Adrienne Lenker are, at heart, one and the
same.
After
earning her Master's degree in European and Anglo-American Literatures
and Languages, Chiara moved to Brussels for an internship in traditional
music concert production at Muziekpublique, before eventually joining the Luna Nuova project.

Davide
About
ten years ago, Davide and a group of friends set out to fill the
cultural void in the province where they lived. What began as a small
DIY collective soon grew into a lasting commitment: over the years,
Davide has taken part in — and founded — several associations,
collectives, clubs, festivals, and event series, contributing to dozens
upon dozens of concerts of all kinds.
From
basements turned into makeshift venues to festivals with thousands of
attendees; from pulling beers to artistic and production direction —
including stage setup, photography, and more — his path has always been
driven by curiosity, kindness, collectivity, and a deep love for
culture.
Davide works as an agent for Luna Nuova as well as a booker for the independent Italian booking agency Grato Cuore.

Tommaso
Singer,
musician, and booker, driven by a deep curiosity for languages and a
wholehearted love of dogs. Rhythm and melody have always been part of
him: Tommaso started playing in his first band at just eleven years old
and soon after discovered the joy of creating grassroots spaces for
music, organizing DIY shows and festivals since he was fourteen. After
earning a degree in Communication in Padua, he moved to Brussels to
pursue a master's in Cultural Management. In both programs, he explored
subcultures and their relationship with local territories and DIY
careers — themes closely connected to the agency's philosophy.
At Luna Nuova, he is responsible for communication, balancing his agency work with several musical projects, particularly Amalia Bloom, his band from Vicenza, with whom he has been playing, writing, composing, and touring across Europe for over eight years.
